1960s Gretsch RB 20-12-16

1969 Ludwig Club Date 20-12-14-14

3 ply shells, beautiful red sparkle wrap. 20" BD, 12" tom and 14" floor tom with matching 14" Pioneer snare. All clear interiors, except granitone snare.

Very little wear, no extra holes, and all mufflers and rail consolette work well. Use wear to hardware, but no rust. Bearing edges are clean and original, and there is no ply separation.

The only item to note is that the 12" tom badge was sheared off (due to pointy edges of early B/O badges) and has been replaced with another from the same year. The original is included, it just won't stay on.

Includes original bass drum cymbal arm (not pictured). Snare stand not included.

1967 Ludwig BDP Super Classic 22/13/16

3 ply shells, overall kit is clean and shiny. March 1967 date stamps in all drums (Tom and Bass are a little hard to read, but floor tom is Mar 17th). Classic Ludwig sound.

Black Diamond Pearl is very vibrant and classic wrap. No extra holes, and all mufflers and rail consolette work well. Use wear to hardware, but no rust. BD hoops have been repainted and one inlay is a perfectly matched replacement.

At some point a muffling foam ring was glued inside the bass drum- it has since been removed but there is still glue residue which I am not removing because of the date stamp (see last pic). Doesn't impact sound, and I normally use coated heads...

A second 16x16 1967 floor tom will be made available for the buyer. It was not original to the kit, but is a perfect match.

1966 Ludwig Champagne Sparkle Downbeat Snare

Beautiful Champagne Sparkle snare in the rarest "Downbeat" 4x14 size. 3 ply shell, white paint interior and white felt baseball bat muffler. No interior date stamp but keystone badges dates it to late 1966.

White interior is clean, appears to be original. No ply separation and drum is in round.

Vibrant wrap with very little fade. Minor use wear to the hoops and some very minor pitting on the hardware. All in all, a very clean and nice drum!

1960s Ludwig Club Date Drum Set 20-12-14 Blue Oyster Pearl

3 ply shells, overall very clean and shiny. No interior date stamps but keystone badges date these to late 1966. Classic Ludwig sound.

Oyster wrap is very vibrant- the floor tom fade is slightly different than the other two drums but it is not very noticeable. No extra holes, some very minor pitting on chrome. BD hoops have been repainted but inlay is original. All baseball bat mufflers and rail consolette work well. Unusually, the floor tom leg mounts were originally drilled for Classic (rather than Club Date) lugs which, in my opinion is an upgrade.
